Helping WSU investigators thrive
Administrators across the WSU system come together to help faculty prepare and submit research proposals, then manage their awards and accounts.
Role of the Research Administrative Community (RAC)
The RAC group convenes on a regular basis to to review new policy changes, grant updates, and more. It enables administrators across the WSU system to share information and build understanding of research-related topics, such as:
- Revisions to WSU proposal and award processes
- Trends in research and funding
- Compliance issues
- Federal, state, or institutional policies and procedures that can affect externally funded projects
RAC meetings also serve as place to network with other administrators who have similar responsibilities in the WSU research community. Anyone can attend.
Meeting schedule
The Research Administrative Community meets on a quarterly basis. Meetings are usually held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on the first Thursday of the following months:
- March
- June
- September
- December
Location
